  • Owner & President

    Kathi founded AAM in October 2010. With over 30 years of trade association and office management experience. Kathi earned a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Management from Doane University. She founded AAM on the idea that associations flourish with the assistance of dedicated staff and full-time availability. Her top priority for all her clients is member services, and she specializes in board facilitation. She loves AAM’s ability to leverage knowledge and growth in one association for others. Kathi co-owns the company with her husband/office maintenance man, Rod Schildt. They reside in Pleasant Dale on their family dairy farm and have four children, three grandchildren, and many grand-dogs.

  • Owner & Maintenance

    Rod founded AAM alongside his wife, Kathi, in October 2010. Rod graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a degree in Agriculture. Although his full-time role is working as a dairy farmer on the family dairy in Pleasant Dale, Nebraska, his main role at AAM is all the heavy lifting. Rod renovated most of the AAM building in the fall of 2012 and headed the expansion project for Phase II offices in January 2021. When he isn’t feeding cows, planting/harvesting, or renovating the office, you can find him onsite at conferences lending a helping hand. Rod and Kathi love to spend their free time traveling in their RV and enjoying their grandchildren, Hayden, Kit, and Roy.

  • Senior Account Executive  

    Taylor graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport & Event Management. Taylor was a basketball player on the University of South Dakota Women’s team for all four years. She previously worked as an Operations Associate at Crete Carrier Corporation and as an Intern for the Argus Event Staffing. Taylor has a background in graphic design, event and meeting support, and marketing. She never misses a beat on the court or in the office.

  • Director of Marketing & Senior Account Executive

    Kylie graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, a minor in Management and was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and Delta Sigma Pi. She previously worked as a Senior Bank Specialist at Cabela’s World's Foremost Bank and as the LUX Center for the Arts marketing coordinator. Kylie has a background in graphic design, print and web marketing, web development, event and meeting support, social media development, content marketing, and public relations services. Kylie lives in Seward, NE, with her husband, J.R. Douty, children, Kit and Roy, and Brittany Spaniel, Camp.

  • Senior Account Executive

    Courtney graduated from the University of Nebraska - Kearney with a Bachelor's in Recreation & Park Management Degree with an emphasis in Travel & Tourism/Sports Management. She was a member of the track team with her main event being the Pole Vault. For the last seven years, she has worked in Sports Tourism and College Sports roles in Nebraska, Texas, and Kansas City. She joined the AAM Team because she likes organization, meeting new people, and leaving things better than they are found. In her free time, Courtney is a major foodie who likes to try new restaurants, golf, play sand volleyball, travel and spend time with her nieces and nephews.

  • Account Executive  

    Jennifer graduated from the University of Nebraska – Kearney with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Social Work and a minor in Gerontology. She has over 18 years of association management experience working with the Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association and Nebraska Health Care Association.  Jennifer received the NHPCA State Impact Award in March of 2018 and served on several board of Directors in Nebraska.

  • Account Executive

    Alyssa graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Event Planning and Lodging and a minor in Communication. For the last 8 years, she was the Event Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Lincoln, NE. Alyssa has extensive experience working in various hospitality atmospheres, including a country club, hotels, and restaurants. Her attention to detail and passion for hospitality drive her to provide top-notch customer service to her clients. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her daughter, Harper, and her husband, Nick, and traveling.

  • ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

    As Account Executive at AAM, Cassandra leverages her extensive 20-year background in insurance and account management to support nonprofit organizations. Her previous experience includes 15 years specializing in client relationship management, team training, and benefits administration, where she mastered complex data systems and client service delivery. Drawing from her expertise in managing benefit plans, enrollment platforms, and stakeholder communications, Cassandra now applies these skills to help nonprofits streamline their operations and achieve their missions. Her proven track record in account reconciliation, data management, and team leadership enhances her ability to develop strategic solutions for nonprofit clients.

    With professional designations including LOMA ACS and ALMI, Cassandra combines technical expertise with a passion for building lasting partnerships and driving positive outcomes for organizations serving their communities.

    Kelsey grew up in Milford, NE, and graduated in 2012 from the College of Hair Design. Kelsey has extensive experience managing and overseeing clients. She previously managed a salon for the past 8 years. Her attention to detail helps her to provide excellent customer service to her clients. In her free time, you can find Kelsey camping, golfing, traveling, and enjoying time with her two Yorkies, Zoey and Bentley.

  • Account Coordinator

    Jamie graduated from Southeast Community College in Lincoln. She is a creative and collaborative meetings and events manager with over 17 years of association management experience. Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband, Troy, seven kids, and three granddaughters.

    Kara Lacey is a Milford, NE native with a Criminal Justice degree from SCC in 2014. She brings extensive experience in contract management, process improvement, grant writing, and compliance. A skilled office manager, Kara develops efficient systems to streamline operations. She resides in Lincoln with her husband Joe and daughter Hayden, and enjoys exploring new destinations through travel.

    Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations, along with a minor in Business Administration. With a background in graphic design, marketing, and account management, she brings a diverse skill set to her professional endeavors. Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys spending time outdoors, especially going on walks with her two dogs, Val and Doc.
